1. Avoid the mistletoe at the office Christmas party - unless there's someone at work you fancy WITHOUT the beer goggles.

2. Stick to your budget. That little extra you spend on ten or so gifts soon adds up.

3. If you're a parent of young children don't forget to give yourself some time out during the Christmas preparations. Your kids would much prefer a happy, relaxed Mum or Dad than a perfectly presented house. Just five minutes peace and quiet per day can keep you sane.

4. Give yourself time to enjoy pre-Christmas activities with the family. Visit your local shopping centre's Christmas display, or drive around the neighbourhood admiring the light displays of your neighbours. These small yearly activities increase family bonding and are long- remembered.

5. Remember those less fortunate than yourself with a gift or donation. You'll feel great contributing to the Christmas spirit.

6. If you're alone or lonely, find someone else who could do with some company and invite them over, or out for a cuppa. Even a phone call to say hello could bring you both cheer.

7.Keep up your exercise. You may be out of your normal routine, but keeping active is easy if you make it a priority. You don't want any regrets come the New Year.

8. When Aunt Maude presents you with one of her (ghastly) handmade, original creations, remember - gratitude! She spent a lot of time and presumably put much love into the creation of a gift especially for you. Show your gratitude and grace. Christmas isn't about receiving great presents - it's about the expression of love and if Aunt Maude chooses to express her love for you by making something for you, who are you to judge her?

9. When your brother-in-law starts bragging about his income/new house/latest toy bite your tongue! Anyone who feels the need to brag about anything isn't feeling too good about themselves. Smile, show interest, and be grateful that you feel so good about yourself.

10. Enjoy the magic!

Why Am I The Happiest Person I Know?

When I was given an opportunity to share my message with the world, through my first publication The Path To Success I thought it may be my only opportunity, ever. So I thought long and hard about the number one reason I am The Happiest Person I Know. If I could only share one message with the world, which would be the most important?

The answer is my contribution to The Path To Success and it is my fervent wish that you read it, take my message on board, and become The Happiest Person You Know!
